4 Ways to Get New Dog Walking Clients Now

#1 Facebook Groups 

If you have local community groups that allow promotional posts, this is a great place to let people know you’re accepting new clients. Referral groups for pet professionals are also a good place to let colleagues know you have openings. 

#2 Facebook and/or Instagram Ads

Paid ads can get inquiries quickly, just be sure to target people only in your local area. I’ve found paid ads (not boosted posts) are most effective. Use the platforms that your ideal clients are using. 

#3 Client Referrals

Let your current clients know you are looking for new clients and ask them to refer any friends that might need your service. 

#4 Networking

Tell your networking contacts that you’re taking new dogs and would appreciate any referrals. Check that they have a stock of your business cards (and drop off a treat for them when you check too).
