Instagram is No Longer a Photo-sharing App

In an announcement on June 30, head of Instagram Adam Mosseri stated "Instagram is no longer just a square photo-sharing app". 😳

Cue freak outs from Instagrammers around the globe!! 

This is NOT New

But hold your horses! Instagram hasn't been a "just square photo-sharing app" for several years now, this is not new. We've had the ability to share stories and videos for years. Even Instagram reels have been available for nearly a year now. This push toward video content however is something I've been following and taking into account with Templates for Pet Pros, so take a deep breath; there's no need to panic!

Instagram Will Push Video Posts

What is does mean, however, is that Instagram will be pushing video content like animated posts, video posts, and reels to better compete with competitors like TikTok and Instagram. 

Making Video Posts Quickly
